About the Event
Join us for our 3rd annual Creative Expressions Experience Event! An event with strictly handmade, homemade and the arts. The event brings in different cultures, music, and a variety of handmade/homemade products. Each year, we have brought in around 200 people in attendance, and each year, we work to bringing in more. We are always looking for sponsors so that we can better the event with more advertising and such, so if you know of someone, please have them contact us. All money going into the event, stays in the event. We do our best to make this event a success, which is why so much time and care is put into the event every year. Due to the new location, we are hoping there will be more attendees.
It may not be to everyone’s liking (you may not like the Christian author reading or the rock band playing), but it for only 30 minutes and we ask that you be courteous during this time. You are more than welcome to leave your booth for the 30 minutes if that is something you would prefer to do because unfortunately, we can’t please everyone with what genre comes in each year. If you are not able to accept what comes in, you may not want to attend. Everything we bring is family friendly.
We limit what comes into our event, usually to no more than 2 similar vendors with the same products. We will make exceptions for those who have a variety of other products. The event is best for vendors who have a variety of products (ex. Not bath bombs only). Products need to be family friendly as well.

What is the Event?
The Creative Expressions Experience is a day to appreciate the arts and handmade products. The event was created by Vickianne Caswell, an author, publisher, and owner of 4 Paws Games and Publishing. The event is held in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, bringing in people from around the province. The event hosts a variety of entertainment throughout the day while vendors have their products to share and sell. A family-friendly event that has some activities for the children, and a variety of hand-crafted shopping to boot.
This is our third year for the event and will be held during Cultural Days weekend which we feel is a better fit for this event. We are often asked where to stay, eat, purchase stuff, etc. by our vendors and some visitors. The event is still currently in it’s starting up, growing stages. Our numbers of visitors have varied but measure around 200+ people in attendance excluding vendors which bring close to another 100. All money going into the event stays within the event. The Caswells volunteer at this event and most of the help is volunteer though getting volunteers isn’t easy either.

What is Our Goal?
Our goal is to not only bring more tourists to the area, to bring people together to appreciate and enjoy the arts but also turn it into something larger. We’ve been slowly adding on each year. Where do we see this event in future years? We’d like to see it grow so that it expands around the town while offering more events of different nature, around Humboldt. We see ourselves having an actor and voice actor, much like Regina and Saskatoon has. A comic con mixed into this event, but we can’t do it alone.
Our biggest problem right now is bringing in more people so we can grow. To do that, we need more advertising, and this is where you can help! We have a variety of sponsorship packages available which would not only help with the advertising but help to keep it growing.

Places to Stay
Extra Advertising
Logo/Book/Picture on flyer $20 + PST. We will not be putting door prize sponsors on this year so that our entertainment photos are larger. We will, however, have a special poster with logos and such at the tables. We do list a basic list of what we think people would be interested in. Everything must be in by August 1, 2019 for it to be listed. This includes entertainment times.
Want to be Part of the Entertainment or a Demonstrator?
If you are offering to do free entertainment, whether it be a skit, singing, dancing, or reading from your book, etc. we can offer you a free table for a min. of 30 mins of your time. You don’t have to take a table and you don’t have to sell what you provided as entertainment. All entertainment must be family-friendly. We will have 10 spots available for entertainment times.
We are also looking for demonstrators (15-30 mins) this year which would be done at a separate table. We can offer a $10 discount off your booth (Sorry, but the table money helps improve the event like by paying for advertising).
The stage is where all performances will take place. We will have the eating area once again up in front and around. The place can get loud so you may need earplugs or something to read a book. This is the only area where there is a sound system, is protected from the elements and where we can place the tables and chairs. We will have a separate table for demonstrations.

Why Do This?
This event is all about arts and culture. It always has been. We hope that you will share your love for your work by providing a demonstration or entertain for a bit for us.
Theme and Contests
This year, our theme will be mythical creatures. You don’t have to participate, but we hope you do. Makes something with a dragon on it, decorate your table, etc. Each vendor’s booth will receive a number for their table which guests will vote on their favorite booth. Winner receives a prize. You do not have to participate, but it will help you win.
Rental Setup Info
You can come in at 8AM to begin setup. Take down time is at 4PM and not any earlier. Vendors who start packing before this time will not be returning for any future events. You may park in front of the place during this time and we ask that you move your cars further back to the side for so that visitors can park nearer to the doors and this is a business with guests so we want to keep it free for them as well. Vehicles must be gone by 10AM and are not to return until after 4PM. Please move as soon as you are done unloading so that others may do the same.
Should you have questions or concerns during the event, please stop by the 4 Paws Games and Publishing booth or the info table at the doors.
