Services for all authors, in-house and otherwise.

Please note that unless you are using one of our freelancers, design services are not hand drawn works. We are select however when choosing images and make sure we are following the laws. All services are available to everyone unless otherwise noted below.

Book Creation

Book/Ebook Formatting

Book formatting for Smashwords, CreateSpace, Kindle and some others. Problems with the formatting? We'll work on it again.
* This will not have our name or logo with it. You will require your own ISBN. We do not sell or advertise your book or e-book as you are not publishing through us.

Price:
Black and white interiors: $30 for the first 50 pages; $20 each additional 50.
Colour interior: $30 flat fee then $5/page.
PST not yet included.

Book Covers

We use free, commercial-use images (or images with Creative Commons liscences). If you desire a drawn one, we have a few freelancers who will be able to help you.Full covers with synopsis added to the back is available upon request.
* Formats (2 provided upon request) include PSD, PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG or TIFF.

Price: $20 for a full cover and $10 for a front only. PST not yet included. See portfolio for samples.

COPY EDITING, PROOFREADING AND REWRITES FOR WEBSITES AND BOOKS

Are you self-publishing a book but need some help? Do you have a website that you want to look professional? We can look it over, copy edit, proofread, rewrite, all at a low rate.

WRITING READABILITY TEST

Send me your word file and I will check it with my program. The program lists the following:
* Grade level for reading
* # of paragraphs, sentences, words, characters, and letters.
* Read time.
* # of hard to read sentences, very hard to read sentences, phrases have simpler alternatives, adverbs to remove, and use of passive voice.
Please note that this isn't editing services but it is handy to know if you're putting your book online because they always ask the grade level. It is also useful to know where to break down sentences, etc.

Advertising Products

Book Launch Flyer

A book launch flyer is usually distributed to your local area to advertise your upcoming launch. A launch flyer is also handy to send to the media along with your press release and sell sheet. Most places you hold a launch will not provide flyers to advertise for you. This is something you must do yourself.

Price: $10/design & PST. See portfolio for samples.

Book Trailer

Video trailers are for our authors only at this time. This is an add-on.
Formats include MP4, WMV, AVI, MOV, WII, PSP, iPad, Android, DVD, etc.
Price: $40 & PST

Book Distribution Ad

Book cover, main location listings with their logo and a review (or synopsis) to the sheet. 4x6 size.
Price: $5 CAD + tax

FILE AND COPYRIGHT INFORMATION PLACEMENT

If you have a photo or PDF but don't have the proper program to add file info into your images, we can help. We require you to sign a document stating that the images are yours, and NEITHER 4 Paws Games and Publishing nor ITS staff are responsible.
We can add such file info into your images such as title, author/photographer, copyright info, website link and a description.
Prices: $2/image or $20/ 25 images. PST not yet included.

IMAGE COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT SEARCHES

Find out if any of your images or artwork have been stolen online. We will provide you with a list of links for any that we find. None found? You don't pay.
* Images must have file info in them to be found.
Prices: $5 for 2 images & $2 for each additional one; $30 to check 10 images weekly for one month; $50 to check 5 images once a month for a year.

File to PDF Conversions

Watermarks and/or password protection available upon request.
Price: $2 per file conversion & watermarks added: $2/page. Password protected: $1 extra. PST not yet included.

Watermarking Images

Price: $2 each plus PST.

Book Copyright Infringement Search

This is similar to the image searches. We will search to see what hits we find for your book. E-books are often stolen, so we will watch for any websites that are selling or giving them away and let you know if they are not legit sites we are aware of.
Prices: $5 per search, per book or $30 to check up to 10 books weekly; $50 to check 5 books once a month for a year. PST not yet included.

Payment plans can be arranged but must be paid in full before your book is released. A minimum of $50 (or the full payment for smaller jobs) must be made before we begin. No interest or fees.

We reserve the right to refuse service, change prices and end relations at anytime if we see fit.

Referral System

Refer your friends to us and if they use a service then we will give you $10 off any service (excluding 3rd party options such as domain name and freelancers, etc.).
